A place to feel good – also thanks to Mrs. Moritz We had a really nice time in Geesthacht and felt at home in the vacation apartment right away. Everything was lovingly furnished, family-oriented, and cozy – exactly what we wished for a relaxing break. A special thanks goes to Mrs. Moritz, who was always there for us. Whether we had a question or needed a little tip – she always helped us in a friendly and supportive manner. This personal care made our stay even more enjoyable.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt! : Very nice stay!

Everything was perfect here! There were four of us (two children) in the apartment and we were warmly welcomed. The rooms are large and comfortably furnished. There is plenty of storage space.

Fortunately, the weather was good and so we were able to use the nearby swimming spot.
To make our happiness complete, only a standard filter coffee machine was missing (Senseo is not our thing at all), but with the kettle and the available filter, we were able to make our coffee "manually". There is also a French press available. So, nitpicking at a high level ;-).

We will gladly come back.

From July 15th to July 22nd, we, as a grandparent couple with 4 boys between the ages of 8 and 10, spent a wonderful vacation week at Birkenhof. We were expecting a huge, charming vacation apartment in the hallway of an old farmhouse, which left nothing to be desired. We immediately felt warmly welcomed, which doesn't happen often with a big group of children. The cake that was presented to us as a welcome gift was devoured with enthusiasm, and off we went into a great week of swimming in the nearby lake, romping and playing on the farm, and exploring the surrounding area, which had a lot to offer. Our two eldest boys were particularly excited when they were allowed to take care of and ride the horses with Annelin. She has a wonderful way of dealing with children, for which we would like to thank her once again. All the boys were thrilled with their week of vacation and definitely want to return to Birkenhof. Dear Stock family, thank you very much to all of you - we really enjoyed it!!!!
